Thank you for sticking with me for my blog vacation in July in which I shared old photos and stories of fun things I did with my kids in 2003 and 2004.
I am busy unpacking as night before last the movers plopped the last box down. We closed on the new house from my hospital bed as I had an emergency admission for a GI problem which began in the last hours of my 1800 mile drive back home (I was the sole driver in the car). The Connecticut house closed, finally, after some postponements, so I was back east longer than originally anticipated. That left me exactly three days to pack the rental house up before the movers arrived for moving day #1. They pulled a no-show for moving day #2 which was for the storage unit, and we rescheduled for two days later, so the weekend was spent unpacking and setting up services in the house (like the half day dedicated to installing the clothes dryer).
I was mostly without computer and internet access while away for seven weeks then had no time for the computer while packing. I then went five days in the new house without the PC. I had the iPhone but there is only so much one can do from a tiny screen. My blogger app is malfunctioning. So, there is no way I could have blogged regularly this summer!
I have missed writing my thoughts and publishign the blog, and can't wait to get back to it. But for now I have unpacking to do and a homeschool conference to attend starting tomorrow, then I'll have more unpacking and then it will be time for the homeschool co-op and the online classes to begin so we'll be up and running with homeschooling right on schedule.
It's an understatement to say my hands are full. I hope your summer has not been as crazy as mine.
