Boston Museum of Science Camp-In

March 2004

Ages and Grades: 6 (1) and 3 (Pre-K)

This was an organized trip with Cub Scouts. Families slept overnight at the Museum of Science in Boston. We did group activities at night when the group was the only one in the museum. The next day we could stay and do more on our own. The only gross part was for that second day we were all un-showered, then we faced a four hour drive home. The kids loved it. I didn't sleep so well on a sleeping pad and in a sleeping bag on a cement floor with a dirty rug on top with a lot of sounds of men snoring. but it was fun, really it was.

My kid's favorite things during this visit was anything hands on that was fun and the dinosaur exhibit.
