Edible Peanut Butter Play-Dough
- 1 3/4 cup Peanut Butter, creamy
- 3 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 3/4 cup Honey
- 2 cups Dry Milk Powder
Directions
In a large bowl, cream together the peanut butter and 2 cups of the powdered sugar. Add the honey, and mix. Fold in the dry milk powder until well blended.
If your play-dough is too soft you will want to add powdered sugar until you get a thicker consistency.
Place in an air-tight container and store in the fridge or freezer until ready to use.
Makes about 10, 1/3 cup servings.
** I would also recommend throwing out any play-dough after it has been "played" with. **
Wrapped Play-Dough Balls |
This time we were making our edible play-dough to be used as party favors for Tatum's class birthday celebration. I wrapped large balls of the play-dough in saran wrap, and tossed them into a ziplock bag filled with goodies (M&M's, pretzels, raisins, and Hershey Kisses). I added a label to the top by folding a piece of scrapbook paper and stapling it into place. "Build-a-Monster" with the contents of this bag! I also included the recipe on the back.
I thought they turned out pretty cute. Tate was excited to share them with her classmates, and they were well received by the group of preschoolers.
Her brother and sister had lots of fun creating monsters with the play-dough I saved for them.
ENJOY!
