Mary Alta Holt, 77, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 in Poteau. Mary was born December 31, 1934 in Talihina, OK to George N. & Atha Irene (Mahorney) Stoynoff. Mary was a retired telephone operator. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jack Holt.
Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Teresa & Jim Wisinger of Wister, OK; son & daughter-in-law, David Glen & Karla Holt of Poteau, OK; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Melba Humphreys and Betty Shoemake of Talihina, OK; 2 brothers, Charles Stoynoff of Muse, OK, George “Jigger” Stoynoff Jr.; numerous nieces & nephews; special friend, Alma Williams; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with Rev. LeRoy Billy officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
