Gary Lawrence Ellis, 58, of Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 in Ft. Smith, AR. Gary was born July 28, 1953 in Kansas City, KS to Charles L. & Gracie E. (Snell) Ellis. He was a brakeman for KCS Railroad. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria of the home; sons, Eric & Nova Ellis of Van Buren, AR, Matthew & Toni Ellis of Ft. Smith, AR; grandchildren, Jacob Lawrence Ellis, Andrew Joshua Ellis, Micah Elizabeth Ellis, Madison Marie Ellis; sister, Susan & Cooper Sweet of Claremore, OK; brothers, Steve & Sherri Ellis of Neosho, MO, Rick & Linda Gibson of Texas, Jeff Ellis of Texas; father, Charles Ellis of Texas; numerous loving nieces & nephews, other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Memorial services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Nazarene Church in Poteau, OK. with Rev. Greg Ledbetter officiating.
