Dorothy Ann Eagan Phillips, 76, of Fanshawe, OK passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011 in Waco, TX. Dorothy was born May 29, 1935 in Henryetta, OK to Sherman Thomas & Clara Dorothy (Ramsey) Eagan. She moved to Fanshawe, OK in 1947 and graduated from Fanshawe High School in 1953. Dorothy worked as a homemaker and health care provider until she retired and moved to Texas where she stayed with her children until her passing. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Donna Renee Phillips; sister, Laura Elizabeth Eagan Cargill; brothers, Sherman Lee, Charles Edgar & James Ismael Eagan.
She is survived by daughters, Debra Sue Thompson & Jennifer Wynn Phillips; sons, Joseph Lee Phillips, David Alan Phillips, Donald Albert Phillips; granddaughters, Charline Renee Brown & Sarah Nicole Phillips; grandsons, Jonathan Wayne Butler, Alan Wesley Phillips, Shawn Robert Phillips; great granddaughters, Mikela Renee Brown, Charline Rose Butler; sister, Virginia Louise Eagan Janway; brothers, Doyle Wayne, Darrell Isaac, Baysul Thomas & Carroll Lindon Eagan; many extended family members & friends.
Evening memorial services will be held at Shady Point Assembly of God Church Saturday, September 10 at 6:00 pm with cake and coffee reception following.
