Gary Clay Thompson, 49, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 in Poteau. Gary was born March 14, 1963 in Poteau, OK to Phillip Don & Beverly Wray (Newell) Thompson. Gary worked at OK Foods. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Thompson and grandparents, Truman & Paulene Thompson.
Survivors include his father, Phillip Thompson of Poteau; mother, Beverly “Ellen” Thompson of Poteau; brother & sister in law, Steve & Vickie Thompson of Poteau; nephews, Brad & Brittney Thompson, Dustin & Amber Thompson of Poteau; great nieces, Mackenzie Thompson, Skyler Thompson, Kaydence Thompson; great nephew, Bentley Thompson; grandmother, Ruby Stewart of Winston-Salem, NC; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Memorial services will be 1 pm, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook & Rev. Roger Mattox officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau.
