Our family took a short trip to Cape Cod with my in-laws who own a vacation home there. The freedom that homeschooling has allows us to travel at times when schooled kids and their families are constricted by the school schedule.
Here are photos of a chilly damp and foggy May day doing trick kite flying at the Cape Cod National Seashore at Nauset Light Beach. It was amazing to have the beach to ourselves since it was a schoolday so even local kids were busy indoors.
