My Summary Statement: Thick and Durable
This is a simple design: the top is open and you slide the Kindle Fire in. There are no moving parts, no flaps, nothing that can tear or get caught or fall off. It fits snugly so the Kindle Fire does not fall out.
The exterior is thick neoprene and the interior is a soft microsuede that is gentle on the glass surfaces of the device. The soft interior also means the device slides in and out easily.
I was so pleased with seeing these in person that I bought two of them for two of our devices. Our third Kindle Fire has a different cover whose purpose is different (it stands it up) and I personally don't like that one as much.
This is a simple case that does a good job. Highly recommended if all you want is something to protect the device while carrying it to and fro.
We own two black devices but it comes in more colorful designs if that's what you prefer.
